The Kiwifruit Fund provides investors with exposure to productive land assets within one of New Zealand’s most profitable and globally recognised primary sectors. The Fund will own and operate a portfolio of high-performing kiwifruit orchards, associated industry assets, and Zespri shares — combining tangible land ownership with equity in a world-leading export brand.
Origin Capital Partners (OCP), our parent company and fund manager, currently manages two established kiwifruit funds with assets exceeding NZD260 million. Building on this success and supported by a Board of Directors (link to Our Board) with decades of direct involvement and investment in the kiwifruit sector, the Fund is positioned to deliver disciplined, long-term returns.

Investment Strategy
Investing exclusively in the kiwifruit industry, the Fund acquires, develops, and manages premium kiwifruit orchards located in established growing regions, giving investors ownership of highly productive New Zealand land assets.

With extensive experience in the management of its other kiwifruit funds, OCP has wide connections that bring advantages in the sourcing of high-quality assets to enable strong and sustainable returns and enduring yields.
Returns Profile
The Fund benefits from a portfolio approach, with land assets as well as investment in post-harvest and Zespri shares. Returns will be a mix of capital gain, through development of new orchards, and cashflow yield through annual crops harvested.
Liquidity Options
From Year 4 after capital commitment, the Fund will facilitate additional liquidity of approximately 50% of invested capital. The Fund also offers the same liquidity redemption mechanism as the Greener Pastures Diversified Fund.
Efficient Capital Allocation
An investor is considered fully invested per the visa requirements from the date of commitment to the Fund, ahead of capital being called.
